AML Coach

Meet W. Scott Erickson

W. Scott Erickson is an inspired thinker who seeks knowledge beyond the surface of things and willingly shares insights with those who invite him.  As a transformational coach with over 25 years of operations and management experience in human services with professional interests in personal, leader and organizational development, Scott believes that

1

We have our answers inside us,” and we rarely trust what we hear,

2

All help is self-help”  based on the observation that “we receive everything we accept and dismiss everything
we reject.”  So, what you have in your life you have accepted or “helped yourself to,”

3

No one can self-develop for another.”  Self-development and personal growth is on you,

4

"Your Truths are a result of heuristic or experiential learning" as highlighted by Alan Watts’ quote;
“you can’t get wet by reading (or hearing) about ‘water’ – you must dive in.”

"You cannot take caterpillar thinking into your cocoon and expect to emerge as a butterfly."
Transformation is a dance of letting go
and allowing, resulting in a reassurance
that you can not go back.

While working in management and leadership roles in residential schools for learning and emotionally challenged children, medical practices, and hospitals, he pursued interests in professional leadership, organizational development, and coaching through membership, conferences, and workshops conducted by the Medical Group Management Association, the American College of Medical Practice Executives, BONES, the Organizational Development Network and International Coaching Federation. He successfully completed the Coaching for Transformation program in May 2013 offered by Leadership That Works.

Today, Scott enjoys coaching people through their transformational journeys, inviting everyone “to accept more love into their life,” teaching alpine skiing, and sharing time with friends and family, which includes six grandchildren.
